How many years diving?

My Open Water Certification was in June of 2016, so that puts me at 6 years.

 Favorite part about scuba diving?

 Being underwater, just floating along at a relaxing pace and enjoying all the things you get to see. 

An aspect of scuba diving is that not all the enjoyment is being in the water. You get to know a lot of people who enjoy the same activity that you love, you get to share unique stories, and you build a whole new community.

I really enjoy helping other divers. I received great help when I was first learning to dive and now I get to pass that on to others.

Fun fact about yourself?

I did not start diving until I was 56 years old and at no point did I think I would ever move on to being a Dive Master. I am a testament that your age is not a restriction to diving. Even if you are hampered by some physical issues, Brian, Rich, and Mike were there all the time to help get me to where I wanted to be. When we dive, everyone just pitches in and helps everyone else.
